Ridomo Gorge – Beach
Ridomo gorge, starts from very deep of the heart of mountain Taygetos and after 25 km leads to the beach of Santοva near the city of Kalamata. The gorgeous gorge is a real geological phenomenon. Throughout its length is very easy to observe the uniqueness of its morphology, as well as the unique aesthetic value and practicality of its cobbled roads.
We have chosen 2 different routes. A long one of 11km and a short one of 6km.
The short route is one way and undeniably much easier than the long route as it has almost the half distance. But the distance that we have to walk inside the gorge is bigger than the long route. Our driver leave us under the bridge which connects the two sides of the gorge. After 6km of hiking inside the gorge we will end up on the most beautiful beach away from the resort. There we will have the chance to swim and have some juice near a well-known with high visitation local beach bar.
